Who We Are
Functional Learning LLC is a compassionate ABA therapy provider dedicated to creating a neuro-affirming environment where every learner can thrive. Serving families in Mobile, Baldwin, and surrounding areas, we focus on building meaningful skills in language, social interaction, and self-advocacy. Our therapy is tailored to respect each child’s unique strengths and goals, empowering them to reach their fullest potential. Through precision teaching and a family-centered approach, we provide a supportive path to growth that honors each learner’s individuality.
A Message From Our Founder

Supporting My Local Community
I am an autism mom, board certified behavior analyst, precision teacher, PEERS® Certified Adult Instructor, and advocate, with almost 2 decades of experience navigating the complex world of autism intervention. As a behavior analyst I have worked with learners with a broad range of disabilities and diagnoses with an emphasis in autism spectrum disorders from ages 15 months to 21 years across settings including school consulting, clinic, and homebased. I earned my masters in Comprehensive Exceptional Student Education with an emphasis in ABA from the University of West Florida in 2015. I am currently working on my Doctor of Education in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from The University of West Florida. As a parent of an autistic son, I am a passionate advocate for neuro-affirming inclusion. My approach to ABA is constructive and assent-based. I emphasize learning building adaptive skills including language, social, advocacy, and self-help skills using precision teaching to accelerate learning. I have a great respect for the science of ABA because of the significant progress across a broad range of learning domains learners can make when taught using this methodology.
