Be the Spark in Someone’s Story

As an RBT at Functional Learning LLC, you’re not just following a treatment plan—you’re helping children build confidence, communication, and life-changing skills in a way that feels natural, joyful, and affirming. Your work creates real progress, one meaningful moment at a time.

You’ll work 1:1 with children in their homes,or in the community, using the guidance of a BCBA You will build relationships, adapt to the learner, to best support them as they learn new skills. 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who genuinely enjoys working with kids

  • A compassionate, patient, and flexible teammate

  • Someone who believes therapy should be fun, respectful, and meaningful

  • Ability to take direction and also think creatively in the moment

  • Experience with children or in ABA is a plus—but not required (we’ll train you!)

  • Current RBT certification or willingness to become certified

What You’ll Do:

  • Support children in building communication, social, daily living, and play skills

  • Follow individualized treatment plans designed by a BCBA

  • Use precision teaching to track skill progress and make data-informed decisions

  • Create a safe, positive, and neuro-affirming environment during sessions

  • Collaborate with families and the rest of the care team

  • Celebrate progress (big and small!) and help learners feel seen, heard, and empowered
